ABCは、1980年にイギリスのシェフィールドで結成されたポップバンドで、1980年代の「The Look of Love」や「When Smokey Sings」などの曲で最も知られています。1997年以降、ABCはシンガーで創設者のマーティン・フライによるソロプロジェクトとなり、さまざまなミュージシャンと共同制作を行っています。
フライはポップ志向の方向に進むようにプロデューサーとしてトレバー・ホーンを起用し、グループをABCと改名しました。
ABCは1981年11月に最初のシングル「Tears Are Not Enough」をリリースし、英国のチャートで19位にランクインしました。
