“Encore une fois” (meaning “one more time” in French) is a song by the German DJ group Sash!, released by Polygram in January 1997 as the second single from the group’s debut album “It’s My Life – The Album” (1997), and is one of Sash!’s biggest hits.
In the United Kingdom, it was released in February of the same year, peaking at number two on the UK Singles Chart and being certified gold.It was a top 10 hit across Europe, including Belgium, Finland, France, Iceland, Italy, Norway, Spain, and Sweden.In Greece and Ireland, the song reached the top of the charts.It was a huge club hit in the US, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart and staying on the chart for 14 weeks.The music video for “Encore une fois” was directed by Oliver Sommer.
