「True Blue」のジャケット写真は、Olivia Newton-John(オリビア・ニュートン＝ジョン)の12枚目のスタジオアルバム「虹色の扉 (Physical)」と同じポーズになっている。どちらもアメリカの写真家Herb Ritts(ハーブ・リッツ)が手がけた。
