Dave Owens（デーブオーウェンズ）のDJキャリアは、2000年代初頭に軌道に乗り、Insomniacz、Housework、Insekt、Byte、Ultim-8、Incisions、Hard Up North、Out of Order、Toast、Housewives Choice、Forbiddenなどのクラブシーンを代表する場所でDJを務めています。
マンチェスターのPureFilthではレジデントDJも務めていました。
デーブのプロデュース作品は、ダンスミュージックの中でもハード寄りなサウンドで知られ、シーンを代表するハードハウスやNRGレーベルから作品をリリースしています。
また、ニック・デントンと緊密に協力し、Toolbox Musicの発展に貢献しているほか、サブレーベルであるToolbox Recordings、Hammerheads、Turtle Dog Digitalも率いています。
