シカゴのレイヴシーンから現れたBilly Nightmareこと“Mystic Bill” TorresのEPです。
元々、このプロジェクトは「Billy’s Nightmare」と題される予定でしたが、一生不運を招かないように、TorresはこれをBilly Nightmareに切り替えることに決めてMystic Billという別名を横に置き、髪を切り、サウンドを変え、この新しいペルソナとなりました。
『Reality Check』には1996年にシカゴのMirage Studiosで録音された4つのトラックが含まれています。
A面の2つのトラックはダークなビートで、頭にしばらくの間影を落とします。B面には同じ曲の2つのバージョンがあり、どちらもMystic Billが制作できる多様性を示しています。
すべての楽曲はGeorge HornによってFantasy Studiosでリマスターされました。
