“Part-Time Lover” was released as the first single from R&B singer-songwriter Stevie Wonder’s 20th studio album, In Square Circle (1985).
The song reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100, R&B, Dance, and Adult Contemporary charts, making it Stevie Wonder’s last number one hit.
The song features ad-libs and backing vocals by R&B singer Luther Vandross, and features Earth, Wind and Fire’s Syreeta Wright and Philip Bailey.
