Dave Lee, also known as Akabu, is a British DJ, producer, and remixer. Dave Lee was best known as Joey Negro since 1990, but took a break from performing as Joey Negro in July 2020 following the George Floyd protests.
Dave Lee has performed under numerous aliases, including Jakatta, Doug Willis, Raven Maize and Sessomatto.
This record, based on Freddie Hubbard’s Little Sunflower from his album The Love Connection, is a house track released by the UK label NRK Sound Division in 2001.
