Deep Forestは、1992年にMichel Sanchez(ミシェル・サンチェーズ)とÉric Mouquet(エリック・ムーケ)によって結成されたデュオ。エスニック、エレクトロニック、ダンス・ビート、チルアウト・ビートをミックスした、エスニック・エレクトロニカと呼ばれるワールド・ミュージックのスタイルが特徴。
1992年にリリースされたこのアルバムは、グラミー賞のノミネートされ、「Sweet Lullaby」は世界的な大ヒットとなった。
