Soul Purpose, Martin Ikin(일명 DJ Mayhem)은 90년대 초반부터 Basement, Face, Precious Materials 등의 라벨로 하드 코어, 정글 테크노, 드럼 베이스 기반 트랙을 프로듀스해 활약했다.
그 후, US 스타일의 하우스 뮤직이나, DJ Phantasy와 콜라보레이션으로 정글 트럭 등을 릴리스 하고 있다.
「Soul Purpose – Indulge」는, 1990년에 릴리스된 Neil Howard(닐 하워드) 「Indulge」의 rework.
