Stacey Pullen, also known as Silent Phase, was a techno DJ and producer from Detroit who was active in the 1990s. Other names include Kosmic Messenger and Bango. This album is their only album under the name Silent Phase, and features a deep and mellow sound that mixes jazz, ambient, IDM, and techno. It has been praised as an artistic Detroit techno piece.
It was released by Derrick May”s Transmat, one of the most important techno labels established in Detroit before 1990 (distributed by Carl Craig”s Planet E), and Belgian independent label R&S Records. This CD is a Belgian edition.
