Joi Cardwell (Joi Bernadette Cardwell) is an American singer, songwriter, producer, and artist born in 1967 in New York City, New York, United States.
She competed in various singing competitions from an early age and gained fame in the early 1990s as a guest vocalist for Lil Lewis with the number one dance singles “Club Lonely” and “Saved My Life” before embarking on a solo career and releasing several albums.
Her music is a blend of house, soul, and R&B genres, and she is known for her powerful, soulful voice.
In 2017, she opened her own wellness center, Jump for Joi Wellness Center.
Currently, he is actively engaged in music and wellness activities.
